while the numbers for dmg and AoE size range should be fixed, why not add utility spells? For example, a levitate spell which allows you to move several feet from the ground? Or a spell that allows you to teleport some range (in range or a longer distance across the map). Or maybe even a limited invisibility spell.

Don't limit magic to damage and damage prevention.

they already have some of these in the form of telekinesis, launch, and wall of force. but yeah more would be nice, pass on the invisibility spell though.

A levitate spell? You mean like telekinesis? A spell that is already in the game?

A teleport spell? You mean the teleport anchor ability that allows you to use runestones to recall to a location you set? A system that is (theoretically) already in the game?

Limited invisibility? There is a spell called confusion which will temporarily whiteout the screen of anyone looking in the direction of the spell's impact. That is more than enough invisibility. They have said numerous times in the past that they do not want to implement any abilities or spells that would reduce the need for players to use clever concealment tactics.

Try looking around alittle more. Also wrong forum for this kind of thread, reported for that btw.

I mean teleport, short range or long range, to places besides stone. Return to stone isnt even a spell.

Teleport anchor. You use a runestone to bind it to a location which allows you to use it to teleport back to that location.

Magic's gimpness is yet to be established.
