Wall of force?

I've really been wondering what exactly wall of force in the arcane tree does. every website i look it up on gives a blank description or a description pending message. does anyone know?

If it's literally a wall of magical force that would be pretty sweet. but if its just another shield-type spell then i'm not going to bother with it.

visit the mage in your capital npc city and read the description - it's probably the best you're going to get until someone actually trains it.

i believe it says something like 'creates an nearly impenatrable barrier' or something to that effect. i doubt it will work effectively, if at all, so go necro and get some more 30 hp nukes with different names and colors from the rest of the game's 30 hp nukes.

Was something like: "almost impassable wall"

well it's not a gate but may help in siege situations, if it works as described.

If it creates a physical barrier it will be extremely useful for blocking small passages and if you have 4 mages, it's called a box trap.

Run down a hall, block one of the 4 gankers on you in with you, drop his ass before his friends can help him. Or just block them all and say peace out. Or you're with 4 buddies in a gank squad and see 2 guys restin in a building, charge in and block them in there. Should be a leet spell. I was stuck between necro and arcane, I went necro but this was one of the main spells that made it a difficult choice.

I chose necro as well. Mostly because of how ungodly far off wall of force is at even the most conservative estimate.

energy field was useless. Wall of Stone was the useful one because it broke line of sight.

You could just teleport past an energy field, or cast at people on the other side, but toss up a wall and you break sync drops, block people from teleporting across, etc. Even if you weren't in a narrow corridor, using it to block combos was awesome. Ah, good times.

Wall was good cause it casted much faster, the line of sight was mostly irrelevant though becasue if it was a mage that could hit you across the efield or teleport out, the could dispel the wall of stone anyways. Wall of stone gave you maybe 10seconds, energy field like a min so get a dexer trapped with efield hes toast :) Both were good though.

i don't think we have fought a smaller enemy force in weeks. don't think we have ever lost a fight either.
