Hey Folks,

I set up a small site to start collecting some information for Darkfall casters.

Clicking the spell schools at the bottom of the page will display all the spells for that school. Clicking an individual spell will display more detailed spell information. The spell information is mostly a skeleton right now, and that is where you folks come in.

The only way this will work is if I can get people to submit spell information as they advance through the schools, as I am hardly through Lesser Magic in game.

If you do submit any information I will gladly give you credit to you and your clan in the 'Contributors' section of the spell / main page.

I realize this is a crappy free host, depending on the interest I may decide to move the site to a better host in the future.

http://www.ozbackup.com/spells/spells.php has much of the information you're requesting. It seems to be verified by requiring multiple submissions before data is posted.

I don't mean for people to use this guide as a replacement - I think your site, when complete, will have a much better layout and be much easier on the eyes. I mainly just posted that because it may be a good source of information for the remainder of GM and the rank 1-25 skills for elementals, witchcraft and spellchanting. Obviously, I'm sure the author of that site would like to hear about it first :P

Hey, on your site when in description of spells, like GM Venom for example, says Reagents: None, does it mean it requires no reagents or that you dont have the information yet as to what reagents are used?

I think that just means he doesn't have the information yet.

Glad to hear the site has been useful to some.

Ramladu - Yes, I know of the Ozbackup site and I used it a little when I was first starting out. I am treating my site as more of a place to learn everything about being a mage, not just spells. There are still big gaps in the information available as far as spells are concerned.

Bravostar - smirt was correct. I changed the none to unknown, and left the 'None.' label in when there is actually no reagent (as in mana missile, etc)

I added an attributes section, and filled in some additional spell information that was floating on some older threads. I hope to start putting up the elemental spells soon, as well as sc/witchcraft.

I'd love to see a staff section where we could find the influence of staffs on the spells and spell casting, with some numbers that really show how it works.

I'll try to help but I hope people with better knowledge than mine will give a hand too.

This a great resource. Thanks! I'll try to contribute anything I discover.

One thing I would like to see added is the duration for the shields and buffs. I'm still working on Lesser Magic myself and I noticed the Magic Shield was something like 120 seconds without spell duration trained up. About the same as the lowest quality food, actually. Of more concern would be the buffs you can cast on others. I had hoped they'd be useful for buffing your teammates before a battle, but they'd be fairly useless at that duration for the mana cost.

Prometheas - I am going to add the other magic schools spells and skills as soon as I can! Thanks for the info on unburden, I will add it in.
