Just as the poll says
I looked at Consolidated newbies Tips, guides and links
http://forums.darkfallonline.com/showthread.php?t=149310
And I came across this link
Player driven map: http://www.exploiter.org/darkfall/
An interactive Agon map, the problem with with this is that it reveals the location of all the cities both NPC and Guild Owned Cities.
After seeing several Town raid videos on YOUTUBE I was wondering how did they know where to look? And now I know this is whats stabbing us who have cautiously and secretly put sweat, blood and love into building our towns only to be crushed sometime after we have our bank built and with little defence.

I enjoy the secretcy of hamlets and cities... unfortunately ... people like easy mode, no one likes mysteries... video games will always have GUIDES, people will always devote their time to ruin the mystery for others who are to weak to adventure and discover. The tricks will spread and the more people use it the more others will want to be equal and they will also use it. This is similar to hacks. Welcome to IRL.

I don't think they should be hidden, or if anything they should be hidden until physically located and mapped by the player. The location could then be given to other players or guilds, depending on the need. If there were a cartography skill or something maybe but prob not gonna happen.
