What/where to skin for hearts?

what kind of hearts???...i kno centaurs give sometimes when u skin em but is there a lvl or sommit specific u need

The stuff needed for alchemy (and I think some enchanting) is just "heart". I'd like to know what drops these too. Ive gotten like one so far. not sure from what. Id liek to say its kobold drop or skinned, but if it is its super rare becaue ive killed thousands of kobolds and only gotten one so far. Might just have been something else I killed somewhere.
