Leveling Alchemy

So I wanted to start leveling alchemy to make myself some staves and I was looking for what will be the best thing to level until I can make staves.

So what should I begin leveling with and what are the mats? Best way to get them?

Am I wrong in thinking that alchemy makes potions, not magic staffs ("staves")?

start leveling herb gathering, herbology, and logging. That will get you most of all the mats you will need for a long time and it will help you get that WIS up to 25 to get alchemy

Yeah, herb gathering is your friend. It raises your wisdom and gets you the herbs you're going to need for Alchemy. Never throw any herbs away or sell them if you plan on doing Alchemy. Also, don't neglect your mining or lumberjacking. It's almost as important since you're going to need iron ingots for a lot of your staves. And you'll need wood for every single one. Some of them require jewels too, like Garnets.

Third, skin everything. Try to always keep a skinning knife on you and skin every grave you see/create. You're going to end up using a lot of those skinned items in your potions.

The rank 0 staff that you can start making when you get the skill requires 1 wood and 1 Archangelica to create. The rank 20 Traitors Glory requires 1 wood, 1 iron ingot and 5 Snakeweed per staff. So as you can see, even just starting out, you'll be needing a lot of herbing/mining materials. Wood is much easier to come by, so you don't have to work as hard at that.

If you're a dwarf, the basic staff requires 1 wood and 1 sulfur. The basic staff you can create depends on your race.

I have the Alchimist s Stone... wood and sulfur, i m in front the laboratory.....
But i can t creating avery think..... all item 0% chance.

My int 18,4 Wisdom 28 Herbalism 50.4

Are you a dwarf? Because only dwarves can create the staff that requires wood + sulfur. All the other races have other, different starter staffs that they can make.
