I thought it would at 25, but it still gives same arrow protection... Or is it bugged?

It's an Air magic spell. Uses 1 mandrake and 1 nacre. At level 1 it gives +1 arrow protection on the stats, at level 25 it still gives +1 arrow protection... So I am thinking it's either bugged or doesn't get better until 50.

full plate (10 pieces) you have 8.6 in arrow protection
+1 arrow prot = 11.6% tha'ts not bad at all.
a basic part of full plate (no bp/helm) is only +0.6 ...

How does it affect the damage?

Try the following:
Arrows at Naked person front/back without the spell and then WITH
Arrows at Armored person front/back without the spell and then WITH

I wouldnt say +1 is particularly useful, it would have to be at least 2/2.5 base. If its only having ~12% of the effect of a full plate set i do not htink it is worth the mana/ reagants.

I'm actually hoping that its totally broken at the moment maybe they haven't decided what the bonus will be at 100. After leveling up mana efficiency some I now know that they can do finer gradation than 25, 50 75, 100 and hope whatever top end bonus they decide on the spell improves linearly toward.

Don't be a retarded. 1% sucks, to begin with, and if it never gets better, wtf is the point? Does the duration increase with higher %?

Also, how exactly does 8.6+1=11.6? Am I missing something?

Also: infliction ward (GM) seems to only do 1% as well. I was wondering if it might do more at higher %, but I betcha it's a 1%'er too.

The normal values(8.6) are fixed values not percents so increasing it by 1 would net an increase of 11.6%

Although unless someone knows the formula for the damage reduction provided by those numbers it's largely irrelevant.

At least it's an awesome spell to lvl up the Air magic pool =/. Us fire mages don't get spells that level our pool as fast as it, so be happy ;).

The formula would be usefull, indeed.

the duration is increasing. Not sure if it's gradual or once you reach level 25, no I didn't buy durable spells.
