"Just" is a good word. You probably have 24.9997 or something like that. To be sure, advance your wisdom to 25.1.

Almost all skills that require a stat as a pre-requisite... force you to have an extra 0.1 before you can purchase. I ran into the same problem with Pack Mule with 30.0 Str and 33.4 Vit. Raising str the extra 0.1 enabled me to buy.

On another note... Pack Mule gives you an extra 100 max carrying weight (at 100 skill). Tireless, the skill you can purchase at 50 Pack Mule, seems to do nothing (also at 100). Just an FYI for anyone looking to pick those up to help in their harvesting/crafting.

Tireless works. Try walking next to someone who's burdened who doesn't have the skill.

Yeah, I ran into this same problem when I tried to take Alchemy. I rushed off the moment my Wisdom hit 25 and I couldn't train it. I had to get 25.1 before it would allow me to take the skill.

Just to be informative: this is the real reason. 24.95 gets rounded up to 25 for display, but not for the prereq.
