Confirmed- Rank 0 crafts do not level Mastery

I've confirmed that for armorsmithing Rank 0 does not raise Mastery...and in fact, banded, scale, and plate don't. The only thing that raises my mastery are shields unlocked at 100 skill.

Bug? Intended? What have others with Mastery in crafts found?

Seems logical for me.

Why should a piece of armor, which you was able to craft when you started crafting, which ANYONE can craft without efford, be able to help a MASTER armorsmith getting better?

And the skill doesnt go up even after relog? I've found that even at higher levels of basic craft you can see skill changed after relog only (when crafting fewer items than needed for 0.1 up).
