View Full Version : Better pvp not uncontrolled killing

I believe a big problem in this game is that people are just pvping anywheres and anytime. In UO we had better pvping only because people played like they were suppose to and not ganking people in the middle of the capital city. A person should feel somewhat safe in a city like Sanquine but to get ganked there while crafting really sucks. I quit uo when it brought in trammel because I like pvping but i still believe there should be some sort of better control over it. Like someone turning gray for a second and then turning back to blue when you go to hit him really sucks and then the guard towers blast you. I think that UO had good penalties for people randomly pvping everyone and everything and should be implemented into darkfall or many people will leave this game no matter how hardcore pvpers they are they are not idiots sometimes you should feel safe or you will never get anything accomplished.

And..the only thing they can do is remake the alignment system, currently the whole turning grey thing is easily exploited.
But otherwise, adding anymore safe zones or anything to block pvping is gonna make more people leave then it will not making them.

Not ganking in the middle of town? When did you start playing UO? I am assuming you never went to East Brit Bank, Moonglow, Occlo, and many more banks. People always did mass Explosion spells on someone and ran to the guard boundary.
Played UO like it was intended. Bah it was people complaining about a perfectly good game that made it fall apart.

I only read 4 sentences, but PVP is fine. If you don't like dieing kill the people who try to kill you.
