For more mid-ranged weaponry how about slings!!

Finally another use for all that stone! Have a sling weapon skill that includes a crafting component so you can learn to make different types of "Shot" like:

- irregular shapped stone
- round stone
- spiked stone
- iron shot
- spiked iron shot
- ect...

The sling can be made of different materials and enchanted for puttign differnt effects on the shot.

The sling would be craftable too.

Again a nice mid-ranged attack weapon that coud use a Throwing type skill
and is an existing Real weapon that was used all over the world.

There is no way you are getting different types of rocks for your toy before we get different types of arrows. Otherwise, yes, I was disappointed to not see any sort of rock hurling weapon. Even M&B had throwing rocks.

Some mobs use stones to hurl at players...so it's not like it didn't cross their minds. Why they would implement that for mobs but not players another one of AV's halfbaked ideas.

u don't pay much attention to the M&B interviews then, its offtopic but anyways, their making it multiplayer with 100 tick 32 slot servers, u shud really read up on it :P

but ye i want slingshots in aswell as different types of arrows... i want poison arrows :(
