we have mana for a reason, why are they making so many of the spells reagent??? i understand having some spells with reagents, but people are saying most, if not all the later spells require reagents.. then wtf is mana for???

reagents for spells is gay, and reminds me of the crappy runescape spell system, with runes instead of magic that were crazy expensive and hard to get restricting the game and making it suck even more than it already did..

at least 50% of the spells shouldn't require reagents. there should be even more than that really, like 90%.. i dont know why they thought that would be a good idea.. who honestly would want that in a game..

the reason of spell components are that u can loot something more from mages than a robe, a hood and a staff. the prob is dmg doesnt scale with spell comp use.

if i use needles of witchcraft and burn 3 comps with one spell and hardly doing 25 dmg with a few second cooldown its quite rediculous.

I think if a spell uses x reagents at y amount then the mana pool should not be effected as much as a non-reagent spell

i agree with you both.. but right now, even for alot of other things in darkfall, the way the game is set up isn't the best it could be.
