2nd time server is brought down during our siege and timer reset.. when are u gonna fix this Aventurine ?? or is this your new plan to make only US players able to siege during their prime times..

either u refund lost clanstones or stop taking down the servers during sieges, OR announce the server resets atleast 6H in advance so ppl know when to NOT start a siege..

i agree this is totaly retarted that it happens all the time we start a siege, tho when Dutch of wessex alliance "or something like that" got to finnish their siege "almost" server shut down like what was it? 4.5h in ?

Agreed. It's completely retarded. And the GMs who never is able to help doesn't make things better. They should just rename the server "NA-1" because they never take down the server during their prime time.

this is about the worst thing I've had to endure in an MMO.

Aesir have had two great sieges now, but both ended with server maintenance. Those two fights were the best experiences of my time in MMO's.. and I've played most of them.

And now we lose the timer for the siege, and the GM's just calmly states that they ain't fixing it, refunding the cash, or nothing. They simply do NOT CARE.

Siege is BORKED right now, a crash, maintenance or a grumpy GM can just shut you down and make you lose what you've been putting down alot of time to just have some fun. And they give a small "sorry" as thanks for the time spent.

This surely made me question if this game is ready for recieving payments from it's players. And I'm a fanboi :P

Just pause timers and re-enable them 30 minutes after server restarts (let people get back on). As it is atm, you're screwing over a core part of the game, especially considering the times you're doing maintenances.

This is the same GM that boosted a person on top of a building in our clan hamlet so that he could stand up there and shot down at us. He probably hates Aesir and is a member of a rival guild. lol.

As for the retartedness of the GM, thats the same in about every MMO. What you need to understand is, that GMs have close to no power to make any decisions at all. They have their do's and don't's, and thats it.

that was the same GM that Boosted PK's up on our clan house so they could shoot at us with out us being able to get to them, great GMs aventurine have. i can tolerate GMs from other games like wow, ye they are retarded but atleast they dont ignore you like the GMs do in this fucking beta version of a game.

It's the same GM that warped some of my friends in the middle of PvP whilst flagged and fully geared to a starter town. As for not refunding items, my mate actually took it up with a developer whilst he was in-game and was given 2000 gold to compensate as well as being told GM Leventh will be reprimanded. I've also posted this elsewhere and received a private message being told that others have had troubles with him too.

Actually previous times if the server goes down the vulnerable timer stays. Either way it's retarded bringing down the server during prime time over and over.

Even thou one of our friends citys have been under siege from aesir who did a really good job on it!
I find it unfair that the server restarts like that.. They should atleast implent a timer so you cant start more sieges!
Allso mby make a way where if theres a siege and it get cancled by a server downtime, the attackers get their clanstone back (and/or their money).
Aesir is trying to take a city with force.. LET EM ! If they can actualy pull it, then its theirs!

Great respons there, very insightful. No, it doesn't go down the same time everyday, and nothing OFFICIAL has been posted about the servers being taken down for maintance (except the 20minute notice you get...)

Untill then we sure as hell aren't suppose get punished for Aventurines fuckups.

Lol I was chasing a GM asking him how to get from red [because I was sure, at the time, that I could just wait and it would go to blue... which it doesn't] and he could barely run because we were blocking him. He just turned on some GM skill and ran away probably 10x as fast as normal. It was awsome. :rolleyes:

Darkfall has way too many horrible GMs... It's really sad to se. Hopefully they start firing the ones abusing their power or just not caring to help the players.

I find it funny that there is maybe 2-3 hours our of the day that aren't prime time somewhere... And since there "scheduled maintenance" is anytime they want + any crashes the whole thing is pretty funny that you think even they control the server down times.

And if you think servers don't go down during NA prime time you don't play them. middle of afternoon on Sundays and 2-3 times a week when i get home I'm waiting for servers to come up.

Wow this thread is a bitch fest. What did you really expect the GM to do with your incessant whining? Do you you expect them to do something that is totally and completely against AV's policy and would actually get them fired?

I can't speak to the other accusations against this or any GM, but in this case...the problem is with your expectations and whining, not the GMs response.
