One thing I keep finding over and over is, with the amount of hits it takes to drop someone, there just isn't enough stamina.

This mostly manifests in group fights, where one is not able to attack one target for any extended period of time. You inevitably end up burning your stamina doing 1/4 dmg to 10-15 different people. I can't eat food/potions fast enough.

Thoughts?

Stick to a target, or gank up on one guy with another player?

Has worked for me in the last 3 HUGE skirmishes.

There are ways around it, just have to play to learn them.

Increase damage and decrease swing stamina usage?

Eat, drink stam pots, and above all else STOP SPAMMING MOUSE 1!

I know (from testing) that I can drop upwards of five full HP targets on one stam bar without food or pots.

I don't like how stamina is the most important stat either but it is manageable to a certain extent.

If you're fighting several people you will end up losing due to loss of stamina and mana eventually. You just cant deal that much damage to take out those numbers. Sure you can kill a few that have low stamina already...

It is more realistic this way but I guess the skill comes in knowing when to flee.

It comes with practice. Lately I find myself regularly ending fights at 20% HP, 20% MP, 80% Stam... and I don't have Mana to Stamina.

Mana to stamina, Stamina leech, stamina pots and stop sprinting and hitting the air all the time.

Stop swinging at the air so much.

This. I almost always run out of health before stam, and I do pretty well. Learning to block without holding parry (reflex blocking is really easy since most people use two-handed weapons) is nice, as is mixing in magic as your ranged attack instead of arrows. Different things work for different people, but it's really not hard to conserve your stam.

And quit jumping around wasting stam like it makes any difference. Hitting the jump key, even when your already airborn uses stam. With mana to stam, food and an occasional minor pot you can keep health, and stam at 70% or greater, and mana at 50-70% durring intense group combat.

1. Don't jump.

2. Don't sprint, unless they do.

3. Don't miss.

4. Mana to stam.

5. Grats, u now know how to play~

People are wearing end game armor like full plate, but do not have end game weapon skills.
