Training spells to 100

Does anyone know what happens if, say, you are training mana missile, launch, or heal self and they get to 100? Does it waste a special slot? I'm wondering because I'm training mainly to increase my int and secondarily to increase the spell's power. But what if they reach 100? Anyone gotten there yet?

it casts a stronger version of itself and then bumps back to 99.9 and you level it back up. it's like having periodic special attacks.

once it gets to 100, i believe the next time you cast it, the spell with be super special

does this apply to all magic? meaning if u cast say a 100 lv spell in fire magic itd go down to 99 and go up and down as such?
