just a few things that i think would be good:
1.some kind of look over your shoulder view (still leaving a blind spot directly behind -just like in rl)
2. be able to zoom in on world map
3. some kind of market system (before we get teh usual whiners this doesnt nessiserly mean AH or player vender - there are plenty of other methods)
4. sometimes right clicking to change mode can be hit or miss wether it works or not - needs fixing
5. (most important imo) when you mouse over a player the info should remain in teh text box until you mouse over somethign else - a split second flash isnt enough to see a players guild etc
i might edit this as i think of the stuff iv forgotten :D
*edit*
local chat - ie chat box that only ppl who are physically close to you can hear

1. Would be nice, especially for Archery and Magic.
2. Has been suggested since beta.
3. Has been suggested since beta.
4. Never heard of that, never had that issue.
5. I don't want a name stuck on my screen for a long time. Having it stay onscreen for a longer duration before fading would fix this.

1. I suppose this is fair. To keep it realistic, the player should suffer a running speed penalty while shoulder-looking since no way in real life can anyone run at full speed while looking behind themselves.
2. You can. Go to Journal -> Map, then use it like google maps. The minimap also has fairly decent zoom range (using - and + buttons).
3. This would be interesting. How about auction houses local to each city/hamlet?
4. I right mouse for parry and <Escape> for window mode. It never fails. Remember, sometimes you have to click/press twice if you're in a chat box.
5. I think a slider in the options tab would be great, ranging from zero to, say, ten seconds. In fact, make that two sliders: One for the info box and one for the crosshair.

They can use the "lean" keys (Q and E by default) to *slightly* turn your visual left or right without changing your direction!

also the bank system - a box that you randomly dump icons into isnt very helpful :P some sort of ordering is needed - also all items should be stackable including weapons

Use bags, the bank organization is fine. And weapon stacking doesn't work. All crafted items have different stats. Also when used, item durability decays making them not stackable.

#3 I'd like to see NPC Merchants, Armor Merchant, Weapon Merchant, Etc. This way players can place their items within these NPC's to sell. Other players can just go up to one of these NPC's and buy the items and the money goes straight to the crafter.
#5 I'd just have "click, target" on a player which leaves their name on your screen until you press esc or click someplace else.
