View Full Version : Bowyer not finished?
Well, you can't craft r40 with 100 bowyer, infact only around 40% of menu is available with 100, there is no mastery bowyer skill in game yet, so this makes it worse profession so far...
When will this be fixed?

What does the other 60% consist of?
There are good bows out there in the menu, i just can't craft them

Are they above rank 40? Maybe it's simply the reagents you're missing? Hm.
Maybe some sort of clancity trainer might have the skill?
No, we had discussion with other bowyers, it is morelikely that you need mastery bowyer for it

not sure why bowyering would get singled out as the skill to put on 'clancity' merchants when most of the other skills have their mastery versions for sale off of normal NPCs
rumor has it someone talked to a GM about it, and the GM confirmed bowyer mastery is not currently in game.

Also fyi Bowyer mastery is NOT in game, Asked GM yesterday, so best crafted bow is rank 30(which can give dmg allmost as a rank 50 looted)

the reason for this that bows above rank 30 would be quite OP, so they waiting for people to skill up in magic first before letting us making better bows, thats what i think

Bowyer mastery is not in game, I asked GM, not hearsay no rumors, str8 fact from GM.
At 100 rank 40 is NOT unlocked, youre still stuck with rank30(allthough they are MUCH better than rank 30 looted)
The speciel bows in bowyer menu is not unlocked yet, either due to bowyer mastery or something else.
I know of at least rank 50 bows in game(again no rumor or hearsay) that has dmg larger than crafted bows.
It nothing to do with Overpoweredness its all about skill is not in game and were busy with speedhacks, and queues and hardware.
Now will some1 say what / where drops seedwood

That's just fantastic.
I spent the past 2-3 weeks grinding materials to get to 75 in this skill, and now it turns out I can't finish it.
Lovely.
But, crafted bows beat the FUCK out of dropped bows, so that's a nice perk to deal with for now.

That's good to hear. If I'm able to get an account I'm planning to be a Mirdain archer with the bowyer skill (don't know if this will work, but it would be great if it does :D)

I'm about to hit 50 bowyer (r20 then) - could you please give me a comparison of r20 crafted vs loot bows? Are they equivalent to r30 dropped bows, or what?

From what I've seen, crafted bows range anywhere from .01 below the dropped weapon dmg for the equivalent bow to .04 above.
So, it's kind of a "luck of the draw" type thing, but it is possible to make bows that are better than the bows a rank above it.
Most of my r30 bows have dmg anywhere from .70 to .72

last night I hit bowery 50 and the improvement from a (skill 25 needed) flatbow to a (skill 50 needed) warbow are pretty fucking sweet :).

Wrong, I have a few bows from a friendly crafter that just hit 100 skill, each one has 0.74 attack, way over rank 40, just below 50

so can someone answer the question about whats the highest lvl we should build bowry skill too? is lvl 50 or 75 the highest we can make bows at right now? i understand lvl 100 does us no good at the moment

skill 75 enables rank 30 and is the highest yet to be made by players.
Rank30 dmg is from 0.697-0.742(with my skill and wisdom)
Rank 30 looted=0.69
Rank 40 looted=0.72
rank 50 looted=0.75
my avg dmg is 0.72 meaning rank 30 crafted equals rank 40 looted, but with potential lesser durability loss
you can make shortbows with .63 dmg when standard is .60 so it make sense for now
