I'd like to see weak animals like deer and stuff in game. You know, it'd be like a harvesting node for leather. I mean we can harvest all sorts of other resources really easily from nodes, right? So make an easy NPC that could be farmed for leather and such.

me too, i'd like to see random little critters. leather and food for cooking would be cool, and have them very random spawns that move throughout an entire area.

agreed, from the start i wanted to play as a ranger/hunter, and find it disappointing at how hard it is to get leather without fighting.

Deer would be good, they could be 1 or 2 hits to kill (with bow)
but on the down side, they could be very fast, so if they see you, they start running away.

Currently the only huntable wildlife are bears, polarbears, tigers and other creatures that will brutally emasculate any single player looking in their direction with a bow and a skinning knife. :D

Yes, they are soloable. But its not really for everyone, and it takes so much time and resources that you could just buy/trade the damn leather or kill other mobs for it.

We were talking about having animals on Vent like deer and elk, wolves and stuff like that. Dare I say it...WoW it up a little.
