I am updating LOTRO now, and I was wondering if any LOTRO RP'ers are still active and want to make a new char with me :)

Forgive me for using the cliche argument but... shouldn't you be asking this on the LOTRO forums? *blink*

I mean... are you waiting for darkfall and just wanting to make friends somehow before you actually get it?

Me and some friends actually pre-ordered LOTRO and rp'd quite a bit. I can honestly say it's the best "cookie-cutter" game out there. Only reason we quit was because of the annoying level-system.

I learned about this game on LOTRO and I missed the connection here with the people... *sadface*. I would be interested in hearing what kind fo character you want to roll. PM me and I'll consider it : ).

Best part of LotRO was the roleplaying server. I loved roleplaying on that game.

European servers had an offical roleplaying server; "Laurelin"

I used to play Aldiar and Aleaneas on there, anyone alive from there :sly:?

I played LotRO at launch on Landroval.

The game is a mixed bag for me. For one I didn't like the leveling system and how it felt like a clone of WoW at times, it also just felt generally clunky at times.

However by FAR this game has the most immersive environments in any MMO. Especially the Shire and Breelands and whatever the Elf/Dwarf place is. Not to mention the awesome music system, and housing neighborhoods.
Unfortanitally I don't think it'd be that fun to pay 15$ a month to just run around the three starting zones. Personally I wish there was a subscription option that was cheaper and limited me to those zones and a level 20 cap.
To be honest though with the rash of poor titles, Darkfall sucking currently, and no MMOs to play-I might just end up doing that. Hopefully I'll be able to roll with some good roleplayers instead of getting into leveling and stuff.

I played Lotro since Closed Beta and recently Canceled

I was a Pvp'r and anyone who had ever gone into the MP forums knows Turbine Screwed Creeps over

I played 2 days ago with the welcome back weekend but nothing had changed

Still a grind, i cant get past the Northdowns on any alts(too boring :bang: )

And 50-60 is the worst grind, quests are spread out, and the best way to get XP it seems is to do the 150-300 Slayer Deeds, and those are fun

I did most of the Moria Quests and im at lvl 58, 100k till 59

Most of my friends are in active, my favorite guild fell apart and PvP is full of noobs

I soloed a Rank 10 Hunter on my Rank 6 warg, come on :/, of course winning was fun, but its get old waiting for 20 mins to get a kill, and dont get me started with class inbalances

But if you are a RP'r and have fun Kinnies it is a game for you

Im a ball of sunshine :D

I played on the EU servers (mainly because they wouldn't let me play NA. Bastards). We had the best RP servers, at least while I played.
