Life's too short, really...go stay a few nights in a condominium on a beach and get tanked, and soak up some rays...you sound stressed ;-)

You realize how many religions there are? Hundreds. All it would've taken for you to have a completely different mindset, is to be birthed basically anywhere in Asia and your chances of being a Buddhist would increase dramatically. Theoretically, god condemns all these people to hell, just for believing in what they were raised to believe in by their parents, or friends...Just like you were, with your religion.

Aside from all the homicide committed in the name of multiple deities, I think religion has had a positive effect on humanity in general pertaining to morality. I'm Agnostic and am thankful for my girlfriend being religious at a young age, because I could only see a goody-goody who's virginity I took being the mother of my children who are still yet to come.
