People fight for a reason. Whatever that reason may be, there is something motivating them, driving them into combat. For many, they claim a greater purpose. Some magnificent cause that to them seems righteous and good. Some people want to be defenders of truth and justice. Others find pleasure in being a champion of evil. But years from now, when the fighting has ceased, when new borders have been drawn and the conflicts of this time seem trivial indeed compared to what looms ahead, what people remember is not why you fought. What people remember is *how* you fought. I'm sure you can name many heroes who have in the past fought for causes you believe in. I'm also sure you can just as easily name great generals who fought against those causes. But what sinks in deepest, what strikes you the most, is the effectiveness of those generals. A brilliant Lord commanding a powerful army will be remembered in tales for decades, regardless of why he was fighting. In this I have found that true immortality lies not in never dying, but in never being forgotten. This is what has lead me to create the Knighthood. My men and I will never be forgotten. We fight as long as there are opponents to stand against us, be they good or evil, and we will win. I care not for the greater good, or for more power over the people, but only for the reputation that my victories will bring. Our names will live on in legend, and people will speak of us for centuries to come. Let the chivalrous and the malicious have their higher callings, my men and I fight for no cause. We fight for no land and no power. We fight for Nothing.

[edit] zerging is like against my religion. we fight as a guild for ourselves, by ourselves. We win or lose, live or die through our own ability or lack thereof. And no, we are not a large guild. Also, wasn't sure if it should be in rp or clan forums so I jsut put it here, figured if brannoc had a problem with the location he'd either delete it or be a nice mod and move it for me ;)

it is a good rp, so it kinda fits, but a lot of stuff in clans is rp too, and this is definitely clan related, so it would fit better there, no big deal though, close enough :rolleyes:

overall i like it, have a common interest and fulfill it, sounds cool, hope it works out for ya :D
