I STILL find it amazing how it's taken this long to come out with a game like Darkfall. I mean, the ONLY game that ever gave me some sort of satisfaction was Diablo 2, Hardcore only of course. I mean, I'd STILL be happy playing Diablo 2 if it wasn't for the horrendous amount of hacks on B.net. I really just don't understand why it's so hard for companies to produce a solid "hardcore" game when it's obvious that many of us want this. Maybe it's just me and maybe it's really not that many people, but I just find it pretty ridiculous how it's basically been so long since Diablo 2 that I've found a game with such characteristics. That was the last game that gave me enjoyment, solely for the purpose of hardcore and being able to loot. Those were the days...

Anyways, I just hope to reclaim some of those old feelings when I am able to purchase Darkfall. :confused:

because if you make a wow clone youre looking at a playerbase around 15 million people to leech from ... hardcore pvp is still around 250k player.

Yea that's understandable. But again, I liked what Diablo 2 did and gave you an option to either play Hardcore or Non-Hardcore.

I played asherons call only before this nothing else came anywhere close. This game is a blast, it really is, now it may not bring all the feelings back because at least for myself, I was 11-17 when playing. All I did when I was 14 was play asherons call because what else were you supposed to do?

What I mean is, it might not bring back everything, but the pvp and everything is a blast. Yesterday I farmed newb goblins for 5 hours to rasie my pole arm, and i didn't stay that long just for the goblins. I was in a different race's city so I got to kill ALOT of elfs.

A game that can keep me farming newb goblins for 5 hours is definably a keeper.

Hah yea I hear ya with the old feelings, I was about the same age when I was playing D2.

It's good to hear some positive feedback with in-game players right now. That just makes me want to play DF even more!
