There are only X-amount of Cities/Hamlets to claim in game. Many that are in remote and unusual locations. Several of which are in hidden locations. For those Clans who are having a hard time getting in game and making headway (because of the ordering problems and initial launch)would it be good to have a way of knowing just how many of the City/Hamlet locations are still left open, as to know where to dedicate your time towards. IE siege prep because non are left / search groups to scan those remote locations / etc.

Not promoting this even being a worthwhile idea, just throwing it out there.

I see the notice of cities forming on a regular basis, people are still trying to get them, not to mention not everyone is suppose to have one. The idea is to take them away :) everyone will have their fall at one point.

From what scouts report there is still alot of hamlet stones left all over and even some decent city ones. My guess is about 60-75% are claimed that are obvious.

also there isn't siege weapons readily available yet anyhow. It will be interesting to see if some of the clans can keep thier cities in the next few weeks. The biggest killer right now is a lot of clans only have so many members in game. the limit on players is slowing down the development of the economy and city building.

That first day there were several cities snatched up, which was incredible to see especially with the sync issues., but that has been hashed out in other threads.

And though there are still those few server wide messages about cities being claimed the numbers of them left available have to be way down.

Was just wondering if it would be a good way to measure where to throw your efforts to if such information was available somewhere.

Why you want big castle dat everyone can see and try to attack, when you could take over dark ruins or big cave where no one will find you?

Well that's kind of the point... I'm not saying that people would want the big shiny castle on the hill, over the hidden location. I'm just saying that having the knowledge that there is still a place out there may give you help in deciding where to spend your time and efforts.

Knowing that there is a city or hamlet out there unclaimed may give players that incentive to go search it out.

This leads to more players traversing open territory that could be easy targets for other players.

May lead to resource areas that are highly coveted being less trafficked.

Etc.
