In a more serious discussion, how long do you think this will last?
In times like these, there's always a huge transfer of wealth. Where do you think it is now?
I could put on my tin foil hat and say this is like what happened in the 70's. Several years of high oil prices and then several years of low oil prices, with the gold price following allowed major financial institutions to sell gold at a high price and then buy it all back at ridiculously low prices from the oil rich nations.
The difference here is that gold is still going up, and pretty quick. If it takes a nose dive here soon cause Dubai needs to offload tons and tons of gold to pay the bills, I'll believe it... and they already recieved bailouts from the UAE federal government.
No idea. The only thing for sure in my opinion is that there is a huge transfer of wealth going on somewhere.
