Did you see the senators talking this weekend? A few southern states are refusing Obama's stimulus aid. They gave some very good reasons why, mainly that by accepting the money they would be required to put things in place that the state would have to pay for once the stimulus money runs out and this would put the state budgets in the red unless they raised taxes which they did not what to do.

Then the NC senator which is black gets on and starts bashing them for "holding the black community down!".

About racism in America. I think it is more culture based. Not all black people are part of ghetto culture. However in large ghetto culture is very much prone to crime and violence. The culture is glorified by hollywood and targets blacks. Naturally a large segment of black population is then divided. The same way as red necks in the south.
