There's a difference between bad spelling/grammar and completely butchering the language. For instance, using 'u' instead of 'you' just shows laziness as if you know the abbreviation then you should also know the full word, not putting a space after a full stop. It's all simple stuff that a lot of languages share in common, so saying "But English isn't my second langauge" is really quite a bad excuse.

You need to understand that speech (and typing) is a two-way process. You may not mind, yet the person you're trying to convey your message to might. I am in an Mmorpg site.I see that there are many experienced players in Mmos as i am or i believe that i am.In many Mmos in time of combat they use shortcuts in order to communicate rapidly IF they dont have sound and mic communication.I believe that these forumers then will understand my type of writing.If you cant understand what i write then i am sorry.Thats the only reason i write like this.I never had a problem when i read texts like mine.

Honestly, I have nothing against different languages myself I think people who bash others for their grammar purely because they can't come up with a good argument against the person are assholes.

I would rather have someone write their topic in their own well written language than badly done English but the mods don't seem to like that sort of thing which isn't going to be good for the developers 'Universal' approach to gaming.

I only get pissed when i see native speakers spelling more than 1 word wrong. I'm finnish myself so i really can't understand why they are having such a hard time writing their own language.
