First poll, and blog, a good time to get your work done is early fall and through out winter.

I'd reconsider the tatoo thing, bcause even if you swear you'll never get tired of the thing, the guy who makes it could screw up. Badly.

My friend tried to get a tatoo with a metal skull and 2 letters over it (forget what they were), but insted they put on T2 over the skull so now he looks like a crazed terminator 2 fan.

Your friend had a moron tattooist then. Tell him to not go for the cheapest psedo-artist who does his work out the back ally using the same needle he shoots heroin and spreads his AIDS.

As for tattoos, it's a silly question, but I'd say summer. When it heals, it's suggested to not cover it with clothing so it heals quick and without scars. You also don't want to expose it to burning sun, but if you want to get it all healed up quick, you don't want to cover it up and make sure you put proper creams on it.

If you avoid doing things because of the consequences, you will never experience them. Do it now, what are you chicken?

I'd say summer. Since everything seems to hurt more in the cold. =P

Tattoos can take-up to about three months to heal properly (sometimes only a couple of weeks depending on the size and the amount of inking), and it's best during that time to keep your tattoo out of direct sunlight.

After you get it done, wash the area twice a day with hot soapy water with your hand, rinse-off with cold water, pat-dry, and then apply an anti-septic cream to hasten the healing process. It's basically an open-wound for a little while, so you want to be very pedantic about it in the first couple of weeks to avoid infection.

The only way you're going to get a tattoo stuffed-up is if you yourself are vague with what you want.

Take in a design (a picture of what you want) and be specific. A good tattooist should draw-up a stencil first before inking your body. If you're happy with the stencil and the positioning, then you've got nothing to be worried about. And yeah, a tattoo is forever, so think about it carefully when you're thinking about what you want.

Lol...A tatoo needs the most 1 month to heal.I have one and i stopped putting protection cream after 2 weeks.

Best season is Winter. At summer if sun hits a lot a fresh tatoo then it gets green and breaks (if it is black and white)

If it is to have a tatoo then think a lot what u want and something that represents you and you ONLY.Dont go and have a tatoo that someone has just because u like it on HIM/HER.

your question obviously points out that you want your tattoo for vanity, so you shouldn't get one. Seasons shouldn't effect your decision on whether or not to get a tattoo. If you are that worried then you should get one on your forehead labeled "tool" and no I'm not talking about the band.

This is the dumbest poll ever, we're in winter and so the now option is the winter option.

Wtf?

Op, see the wall? It's promised me it can help you. Slam your head into it over and over until you no longer have this problem.

Also, never fucking make a poll again. You're an incompetent, and failed to properly honor Forumfall's official religion. Worship of bewbz.

Winter ffs, what a retardead question. You cant have a bath during the summer if you get a tattoo, gonna ruin it totally.
