Some advice please?

I'm trying to find some games to play while waiting for the DF release, or at least until I can try the free trial/beta.

I notice Horizons: Empire of Istaria has a free trial. I remember looking forward to the release of Horizons years ago, but then losing interest when I learned of its lack of PVP and release problems.

Anyone ever player horizons before? Any other suggestions for games?

Here's some advice: Real life.

There's been about as many good video games released in the last two years as there have been high profile murders in Mayberry. The amount of "good" MMOs can be counted on a single hand by a farmer who's just suffered a horrendous turbine accident. PC gaming is washed the fuck up. Spend your spare time staring at a steaming bucket of snot.
