I just on it now man I kind of missed it. Its a FPS MMORPG one the first think it came out in 2001 or 2002.. I was in beta testing for it omg ages ago and played since then..

Biggest Flaw it has no population... its a Germany company too..

They got apartments and locks and storage cabinets and clan apartments and they even have fortresses around the world well they call them outposts that give bonus for owning them..

It was prob most advance FPS game I ever played to be honest.. Best crafting system drug system omg it was great..

Also has a skill system like Darkfall sort of rather then leveling a skill you level a stat like str and then spend the points..

I played it. I agree it was great, but suffered form the same problem Horizons (another decent game) did. They were designed to have mass populations to fuel the system, and both games were empty.

never played Horizons. But I be playing neocron even today if lets say the pop was 200+ online always.. That's all it needs but :( that's not going on anytime soon. The company runs it but does not advertise it.

Horizons is the game I've seen that most closely resembles Darkfall, other than the PVP that is. Huge crafting system, player built housing. Players could actually play Dragons. The game started with something like 6 - 8 races, with npc races that had their home cities under siege by demons, and if the players could free one of the home cities, that race became available to play. Kinda neat. The problem was that no NPCs sold anything but the very basic gear, everything else was supposed to be made by players and posted in the market for sale. And since most items required more than one player to make, since no one else was playing it was impossible to do anything.

Ahh that sucks.. Everything in this game can be done since has a really good semi RP/ community. Downside is just more fun for massive scale pvp battles with 100's rather then 10min

Neocron basically failed because Reakktor poured all of there money into Black Prophecy, which should also be an awesome game.

It's look like a ripoff from Project Entropia/Entropia Universe.

I'm pretty sure it came out before Entropia. And it's not nearly the same thing.
