Exactly. It's no "Let the Right One In" in terms of quality, but it certainly made more money. So from financial and popularity standpoints, it can't be mocked. From the awards point of view, I expect Twilight to win Teen Choice and that's it, while Let the Right One In better get the Oscar for the best foreign movie, or I'll lose all respect, whatever little I still have, for the Acedemy Awards.

Bottom line, making fun of WoW is like making fun of Donald Trump because he's such a dork. He may be a dork, but he doesn't care what you have to say, when he's banging three hot hookers on a pile of money as big as your house. Similarly, WoW or Blizzard don't really care what Darkfall or Youtube have to say about it, it'll too busy counting cold, hard cash.
