You reveal yourself as a fraud right off the bat.

First and foremost, your camera does not have an ISO 64 setting.

Second, if it is, there is no way you would capture the moon at ISO 64 and only having the shutter open for 1/400th of a second.

Stop taking credit for other people's work.

I wonder if someone could figure out where you're taking that picture from by using some astronomy & knowledge of the moons surface. I guess they'd have to know when you took it.

Lol.. yes its mine..
Look at tech date for my cam... Olympus 570uz.. yes i can turn it down to iso 64 .. shutter open was 1/400 or 1/600 cant remember. Picture was taken today "early" 05:00. Olympus 570uz its bether than a little compact camera but not so good as a mirror reflect.. Only reason that i bought it (and not a mirror reflect) was for the the amazing 20x optic zoom.

My curiosity was peaked by your comment and I decided to look up the specs of the camera he said he used.

Shutter-speeds range from 15 - 1/1000 seconds (up to 1/2000 at closed apertures) with bulb support, and f-stops range from f/2.8 – f/8.0 (this may not seem like much, but keep in mind that, with small sensors, f/8.0 is already essentially deep-focus, and anything smaller results in diffraction). ISOs range from 64-6400

There is not enough light from the moon to get anything significant on the camera with a 64 ISO setting, 5 f-stop and 1/400 (or 1/600) setting. I can't even get the light from a room with those settings.

(maybe I was wrong about the ability to set it to 64 ISO, when I looked it up, it said it was 50).

Are you sure you didn't have the shutter open for well over a second? Like on a tripod or something? it is a nice picture, but with the information you gave it would have been impossible to actually take it.

And Mordak, I really don't think I was hasty. I am no expert photographer, but I have tried to take a lot of night shots. Getting a picture like that at the settings he gave is impossible. Those settings *might* be good if you were shooting sports in broad daylight. But a moon at night? No way.

Am pretty shure that is was somewhere between 1/400 - 600 if i turned it more down? ... it went to light to get a good focus on the moon.. the moon gave alot of light.. so best result i got from those settings..

Moon is very light.. to get a good focus you have to use 1/200-600, Then less bright stars will not been seen on picture like this. At last not with my camera.
