Hey forumfall. I just recently got the game Morrowind, and I'm looking for some suggestions on good mods that enhance / improve the game experience. I'm not looking for any weapon or armor mods, just mods that fix or add a lot of content etc..
I'm not sure if you've heard of it, but on Oblivion there's a mod called: Modular oblivion enhanced (or M.O.E) Which is an example of what I'm looking for

Stuff like this basically, mods that add a lot of features that would fit well and adds many hours.
I will do my own searching, but I'm only human. Boredom will set in and I will probably miss a lot of the good ones so if anyone has any suggestions or knows of any goods mods I'd be very grateful.

So? I'd rather play it late then never at all.

Good. As long as you're not a graphics whore, you'll love it. Amazing game.

With a few mods, even graphics whores can enjoy the game.

Planet elder scrolls is a good place to start. Just go to the top rated section and browse from there.

Yes, it's a great game and I still play it occasionally. :) Can't recommend any special mods tho, just basic ones you'll easier find at morrowind mod site of-choice.

Quality game. Only problem was it was too easy, difficulty didn't scale properly.
Morrowind plus a few graphical tweaks:

If theres anything that adds a deadly reflex type tweak to Morrowind combat can somebody fill me in?

Only two I can think of right now are Morrwind Advanced and Super Adventurers Mod, both of which make the game harder. Unfortunatly, I don't think Morrowind has any really in depth re-do's like OOO for oblivion, but that may be because the vanilla game was 10x better than oblivion, and the expansions were both very good.
Edit- also, I would advise against using the mods that remove the 'fog of war' (Murkiness effect which limits view distance) as they make the world seem quite a bit smaller, but that may just be me.

kind of kills it for me when you can see other cities from the city youre in. with the low view distance of Morrowind, the terrain makes it seem much larger
id recommend the mod that makes people have routines and go to work during the day etc., like Oblivion npcs. i forget the name.
and if youre a melee guy with no security, theres a mod where you can break down doors and smash chests, etc.

Morrowind Graphics Extender
Darker Morrowind
better bodies, heads, world of faces
I'm just suggesting graphic mods since it's your first playthrough; you should really play it with the gameplay intact.
A good place to stay -- gives you a nifty hideout in Balmora, but don't install this mod untill after you do all the graphics extender shit.

There is a mod that enhanced sound and put more mobs ingame make morrowind more life like and immersive feel.

Dont pay attention to negative guys, its still a great game and there some nice mods to enhance game with sound and grafics.
I recommend play it first originally with addons tribunal and bloodmoon and enhance sound and grafhics mods.
Some mods just to much cheat.

That's true, it does feel pretty small without a 10 meter fog radius.

It seems way too good to be true... Morrowind with the good parts of Oblivion...
