Thiago Silva vs Lyoto Machida UFC 94 (i think 94)

I just had a big argument with my mate about this fight, i bet a tenner on Silva winning TKO first round, he thinks Lyoto will win by decision.

Thoughs on this fight? It could go either way, decision for Lyoto or TKO for Silva in the first or second, can't see him finishing it in the 3rd, Lyoto is very alusive and a good counter striker but i just think he will get caught by Silva early on for a quick finish.

Yup its on 94.

Even though i would like Lyoto to win (because i do similar style) i believe Silva will win for the same reason you said. Lyoto doesnt have KO power and Silva does. You cant easily win a decision vs a knockout artist.
Lyoto will get caught sooner or later like he almost got caught from Tito

Yes i love Lyoto, i just think it's a bad match up.
