What that guy said was true....this is a redundant thread. It has been said before, and not only but this thread really really is just a waste of forum space. Who needs to discuss why this game will fail? we will find out soon enough......lets just hope it doesnt.

Many of you long timers that snap at the first sign of anything unpalatable to you, need to just stop visiting the forum for a few days. Seriously. A thread which has been "done before" the previous day, or hour, is one thing. Fine, throw a fit. However, we all know bitter, crusty old lurkers like yourselves have a looong memory, and you still melt faces even if it has been months.

Yes, the search is there, but you know what, I don't care. I use it, some don't. So, if someone wants to run a poll that's been done before, or ask a question that wasn't answered yesterday, and isn't posted somewhere obvious in a sticky or whatnot...

Chill the fuck out. Seriously. It just shows everyone else how tired, old and pathetic you are; like desperate desert madmen thirsty for water. Things change, ancient posts resurrected by the necromantic search tool are often out of date. On the other side of that same coin, plenty of things even you people talk about are complete conjecture, almost every topic can be responded to with "No one really knows," or "Wait until release"

This is what forums are for. People who are excited about this game have questions, or want to sit and daydream, theorycraft, and propose ideas. Without this, there is no reason for the Advanced or Newbie forums because, as has been pointed out ad nauseum, EVERYTHING has been done and said that can be done and said which has even the most insignificant relevance to Darkfall.

There is nothing that stands out to me as game destroying, however an un balanced gankfest/greifer environment is what i believe the biggest potetial disaster.

But i believe the game will run fine.

Ohh possiably the mele combat system may not function as exciting as some of us are hoping.

Honestly I think what could ruin the game is if Pk'ing got out of hand. Cities are meant to be places where, if you get smacked by someone, the guards will smack them back and kill them. If something was done to keep this from happening so, for example, I'm just at the bank putting some stuff away, or buying something off a merchant, someone comes up to me and messes my shit up. It's one thing to attack someone while they're already fighting, it's another thing to shoot someone who's on the john taking a dump. You just don't do that.
